We need a new house for the men. So we applied for a Manatee County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in October 2012. The County and HUD approved the grant for $350,000.

During our Board of Directors meeting on October 24, 2012, Rev. Jean Russo signed the contract. Gayla Harbolt and Sandy Warren signed as witnesses.

Since this is a new construction and not a rehab, an environmental impact study and site plan needs to be completed along with a few other minor items before we can continue.  Hopefully we will be able to break ground in the spring.
